Curiosity Clubs
135 Students participated in virtual Curiosity Clubs. They connected across grade levels to work on projects around interests and passions. Clubs included recycling and repurposing trash into treasures, working with local artists, STEAM projects, Lego creations, a service project to make pet beds for the SPCA, young designers, Ozobots, fairy houses, and water colors. Welcome Back Parade
Staff was excited to welcome back our students and see smiling faces again - even if socially distanced. Kids got to meet their new teachers in a drive through Open House parade. (Sept 2020)
180 pairs of shoes collected for Salvation Army!
We donated 180 pairs of shoes to the Salvation Army Shoe Drive! Thanks Kindergarten for organizing and counting! (Jan 2020)

Murray students take part in Naturalization Ceremony
First Grade Daisies from Girl Scout Troop 2164 went to witness a naturalization ceremony at the US District Court in downtown Charlottesville this week, where they saw community members from 30 different countries take their oath as new citizens and led the pledge of allegiance for the ceremony.
